1. agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and
the operators of Lightlink ("we," "us," or "the Service"). By accessing or using the Service,
you acknowledge that you have read,
understood,
and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree,
you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
2. eligibility
The Service is available to users of all ages. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of
majority in your jurisdiction),
you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your
behalf. Continued use of the Service by a minor constitutes parental or guardian consent to the
collection,
use,
and disclosure of the minor's information
in accordance with these Terms.
3. description of service
Lightlink provides a web-based platform that may include,
but is not limited to,
web security services,
a user profiles system ("Profiles") enabling user-generated content and communication features,
activities,
and related services. You acknowledge that the Service is currently in a "Beta"
phase and may be subject to bugs,
errors,
and interruptions.
4. user conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload,
post,
or transmit any content that is unlawful,
harmful,
threatening,
abusive,
harassing,
defamatory,
obscene,
or otherwise objectionable;
(b) impersonate any person or entity;
(c) violate any applicable local,
state,
national,
or international law;
(d) engage in any activity that disrupts,
damages,
or interferes with the Service. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access
immediately,
without prior notice,
for any violation of these Terms.
5. user-generated content
The Profiles feature allows you to create profiles and communicate with other users. You are
solely responsible for all content you post,
upload,
or transmit ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content,
but grant us a non-exclusive,
royalty-free,
worldwide license to use,
display,
and distribute such content in connection with the Service.
6. intellectual property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content) are and will remain the exclusive
property of the operators. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior
written consent. The Service is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0
(AGPL-3.0).
7. disclaimer of warranties
the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis,
without warranties of any kind,
either express or implied. we expressly disclaim all warranties,
including but not limited to,
implied warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose,
and non-infringement. we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted,
secure,
or error-free.
8. limitation of liability
to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law,
in no event shall the operators,
their affiliates,
directors,
employees,
or licensors be liable for any indirect,
incidental,
special,
consequential,
or punitive damages,
or any loss of profits or revenues,
whether incurred directly or indirectly,
or any loss of data,
use,
goodwill,
or other intangible losses,
resulting from your use of the service.
9. indemnification
You agree to defend,
indemnify,
and hold harmless the operators and their licensees from and against any claims,
liabilities,
damages,
judgments,
awards,
losses,
costs,
expenses,
or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
10. modifications to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time,
at our sole discretion. If we make material changes,
we will provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications will
constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately,
without prior notice or liability,
for any reason whatsoever,

without limitation,
if you breach these Terms.
12. governing law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in
which the operators reside,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
